We have been able to successfully mitigate the attack and have prevented it from reoccurring. Upon further analysis, the only consequences of the attack were delayed job applications. The performance of our search and reporting functionality were not affected.

We have mitigated the DoS attack, restoring system performance and availability. We are still monitoring the situation to ensure it does not reoccur.

Updated at 4:56pm ET: Although we initially reported that the attack affected general performance, upon further investigation we found that only job application processing times were affected.
Due to a DoS attack on certain parts of our system, we are seeing increased processing times for job applications in Greenhouse Recruitment. application, including search, job applications and reporting.
No data, including application data, has been compromised or lost. Job boards remain 100% available.
