We will be performing a significant database update that will require taking the database offline on Sunday, August 21, beginning at 12:00 AM ET. During this time, we will be migrating the Greenhouse Recruiting application’s main database from our current web-hosting provider, Heroku, to Amazon Web Services.
We had previously scheduled this work to be done on July 17, but the size of the migration required splitting this effort into two, with the less significant maintenance performed on July 17 and the more significant work scheduled for August 21. Our conservative estimate is that the Greenhouse Recruiting application will be offline for up to 6 hours and has been scheduled during our lowest-traffic period to reduce the impact on our customers.
During this time:
The Greenhouse Recruiting Application will be unavailable
The Greenhouse Harvest API will be available for reads, but unavailable for writes
Greenhouse Job Boards and Job Board APIs will be available
Greenhouse Onboarding and Greenhouse Analytics will be available
